Academic Prerequisites

• An overall GPA of 3.3 or higher
• A GPA of 3.3 in Sociology, with at least four units (16 credits) completed

Induction Prerequisites

• Participation in the development of the SocioNews departmental newsletter
• Serve as a student representative at department events
• Engagement in community service [per the requirements set forth by students]
• Payment of lifetime membership dues
